Today full day excursion visiting Rohtang Pass (Upto Snow Line in case Rohtang is closed due to snow fall). Later in evening Walk through town visiting newly constructed Buddhist Monastery. Hadimba Devi temple-It is small temple situated in the dense forest is very interesting . Hadimba is said to be the wife of Bhima from the epic of Mahabharata. Vashisht, it is an extremely picturesque little place clinging to the steep hill side. On the way up to the village you come upon the Vashisht hot baths where a natural sulphar spring is piped into a modern bath -house. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5 : Manali To Chamunda To Dharamshala

After breakfast, proceed for Dharamshala. En-route visit Chamunda Devi Temple. Check in to the hotel. Evening visit Budhist Monastry, Bhagsunag Temple, Enjoy the natural beauty of Dharamshala. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6 : Dharamshala To Amritsar

Day 03: Katra – Maa Vaishno Devi (16 km track ) – Katra

Vashno devi darshan:As per the legend, during the period when the Goddess was busy in annihiliting the Asuras, Her three main manifestations viz. Mata Maha Kali, Mata Maha Lakshmi and Mata Maha Saraswati got together one day and pooled their collective Tejas or spiritual strength. A stunningly bright light emanated from the place where the Tejas of the three manifestations coalesced and a beautiful young girl emerged out of this Tejas. The young girl asked them, “Why have I been created?” The Devis explained to her that they had created her so that she would live on earth and spend her time in upholding righteousness.

Day 01 : Leh

You can arrive at leh by flight or by road. There are regular services from Jammu, Delhi, Srinagar, and Chandigarh. There are flight services from Shimla as well taking hardly 40 minutes.

Day 02 : Leh Local 

On day 2, you can visit to some of the well renowned monasteries of ladakh –shey, thikse and Hemis monasteries.

Shey : this beautiful monastery was built by king Deldon Namgyal in the memory of his father Singay Namgyal. Inside the monastery there is a huge statue of Buddha Shalyamuni -the second largest statue of Buddha in Ladakh. The statue is made up of copper sheets and decorated with gold.

Thicksey monastery: it is an outstanding example of Ladakhi architecture located at a distance of 18 km from Leh.

Hemis Monastery: Hemis gompa is established in 1620 by Lama Tagstang Raspa and built by Palden Sara under the patronage of King Singe Namgyal. It is located at about 50 km away from the Leh city.

Day 03 : Leh to Khardungla

Next morning , you can make a plan to visit the Khardungla pass- the highest motorable pass in the world(5600 m) .

Day 04 : Fly Leh to Delhi.

Transfer in time to the airport to connect flight for onwards destination.

Visit the summer palace of erstwhile maharajas of Ladakh- Shey Palace, Thiksey monastery (housed with 100 ft tall statue of Maitreya Buddha) and Hemis monastery (the largest monastery in Ladakh). Return back to Leh in the evening.

Day 03 :Leh – Alchi
Early morning, hit the road to Alchi (68 kilometers from Leh). Drive past Magnetic Hill, confluence of Indus &Zanskar River at Nimu and visit Basgo Castle. In the afternoon, arrive in Alchi village followed by check in at the hotel. Later visit Alchi monastery-listed among the top 7 heritage monuments in India and 1000 year old miniature paintings. In the evening, take a walking tour around the village.

Day 04 :Ulley – Lamayuru – Stok
Morning pack-up and drive to visit to Lamayuru Monastery 60km & the Lunar like landscapes near Lamayurur village. By later afternoon arrive at Stok Village and checkin at Skittsal Resorts. Later in the afternoon visit the Royal Stok Palace Museum followed by visit to Ladakhi Family Home for local butter tea , Barley drink etc.

Day 05 : Stok to Pangong& back
A full day excursion to Pangong Lake which is 135 kilometer away from Leh and situated at an elevation of 4,400 meters is on the cards today. En route, you’ll cross Chang La Pass (situated at a height of 17500 feet) and drive past Durbuk and Tangste villages in the Changthang region of Ladakh. The Pangong Lake is the most amazing lake in Asia region and changes its tone 4 to 5 times a day.

Day 06 : Stok to Nubra Valley
Post breakfast in the morning; hit the road to Nubra Valley (142 kilometer away from Stok) via Khardongla Pass. On reaching Nubra, visit Hunder and Diskit monastery and white Sand Dunes.

Day 07 :Nubra – Leh

Morning half day tour visiting Naggar Castle, Roerich Art Gallery (closed on Mondays) and few old temples in Naggar village. Afternoon half day city tour visiting Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple, Tibetan Monastery and Vashisht Village. Evening free to explore Manali market. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Manali to Kaza via Kunzam Pass
Travel by surface from Manali to Kaza over Rohtang Pass (3980 m) & Kunzum Pass (4558 m). Enroute also drive past some villages of Spiti valley like Losar, Hal and Ragrik. On arrival in Kaza check in at guest house. Overnight at guest house.

Day 04: Kaza Local

Morning visit the Ki monastery, 12 kms from Kaza. This centuries – old gompa is a labyrinth of rooms and corridors – and at one time also acted as a fort. It houses valuable thangkas and offers a panoramic view of the area. Also visit the small gompa at Kibber, 9 kms further ahead. Kibber at 4205 m has the distinction of being the highest permanently inhabited village of the region. Overnight at guest house.

Day 05: Kaza to Pin Valley or Tabo

Travel from Kaza to Pin Valley, the land of Ibex and Snow Leopards. Visit Kungri monastery at Pin Valley. Continue drive to Tabo. Visit Tabo monastery. Founded in 996 AD by the great teacher Richensang-po, Tabo is renowned for its breathtaking murals and stucco images – and is often called “The Ajanta of the Himalayas”. The largest monastic complex in Spiti, the old section has 9 temples, 23 chortens, a monks chamber and a nuns chamber. There are several caves adorned with frescoes and contemporary structures too. In trans Himalayan Buddhism, Tabo’s sanctity is next only to Tibet’s Tholing gompa. Overnight at guest house.

Day 06: Tabo to Sangla
Travel from Tabo to Dhankar gompa. This gompa rests high over the valley and is a stupendous example of local architecture. It is regarded to have once been a fort and was also the residence of the ruler of Spiti. Also visit the Lalung Gompa. Continue travel towards to Sangla. Overnight at guest house.

Day 07: Sangla Local to Sarahan
After breakfast an excursion visiting the picturesque village of Chitkul. Drive to Sarahan.
Day 8: Sarahan to Shimla.
After breakfast an excursion visiting the picturesque views of Himalayas ant then Drive to Shimla Evening free to stroll in the famous The Mall & The Ridge. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09: Depart Shimla (own arrangement)

Check out of hotel. Later depart Manali on own for onward destination. End of tour & our services.
